The 2017 Guiding Season ends on a high note
This fall’s unseasonable warm weather provided me with the opportunity to extend my season well into October. The relatively warm water temperatures coupled with extremely low water levels kept the smallmouths extremely active. Before this recent rain event put an end to the season, we were fortunate to enjoy yet another beautiful day on the river. In addition to plenty of smallmouths, we stumbled on a few hungry stripers! The last fish of the season made for a memorable end to the 2017 guiding season.
- Another sunny day on the Kennebec
- A memorable Kennebec striper
- Another October smallmouth
